This beautiful short video shot by Julien Mokrani comes very close to my favorite cinematic film view. It’s really nicely graded with a touch of noise in After Effects and flares shot separately.

I love the small subtleties in this video such as the clash between the pure, clean and perfect aesthetic of the character’s suit mixed with elements of old and cracked furniture, broken umbrella and dust in the air. The story (or my twisted interpretation of it) makes me feel quite nostalgic. Don’t ask why. Just watch!
