Another time lapse in beautiful London

One morning Ben and I got up early, mounted my Canon 5D Mk2 on the dashboard using a hat and a piece of rubber and drove around London for 2 hours till the Sun came up. This is the result.

Get Some Party Next Month

My friend Ouzo is spinning a night at East London’s Gramophone on 17th October 09. And knowing his sick taste in music it’s going to be heavy.

New short skate video

London, South Bank, Late August 2009, 7am. We didn’t have much time to shoot and security super cleaner guys weren’t very happy with what we were doing. So we only managed to pull off some 10 minutes of footage.

Filmed on Canon 5D Mark2 with 50mm f1.4 lens. Edited on Apple Final Cut Studio.

Music: Band of Horses

Thanks Ben!

Londinium music video finally out

I was really looking forward to see it. I created background flats of the skyline for the video.
Artist: Ralph Watson
Director/Producer: Richard Peretti
Enjoy!

Iconography of Mask

This is something that you probably didn’t know about masks and people who collect them.

Video of the day

My latest time lapse

This was shot in my living room over the course of two hours, two glasses of lemonade and Spanish gin and 3 episodes of ‘That’s my Bush’ on the TV.
John is an illustrator and a comic book oligarch. Ceiling in his flat collapsed on his head recently but he now moved to a new property in North London. Please check out his works.
He also takes part in an alcohol extravaganza called Shore Leave where he plays his part as a resident sharpie tattoo artist.

What impressed me this week

Sand animation

Just another interesting find.

Another spectacular piece made on 5D MK2

Created and directed by Robin Risser

I love the small subtleties  in this video such as the clash between the pure, clean and perfect aesthetic of the character’s suit mixed with elements of old and cracked furniture, broken umbrella and dust in the air. The story (or my twisted interpretation of it) makes me feel quite nostalgic. Don’t ask why. Just watch!
