			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Here&#8217;s a good example of a, shall we say, socially responsible campaign involving Michael Schumacher (Seven times Formula 1 Champion) and <span>Salvatore &#8220;The Maestro&#8221; Calabrese (</span><span>one of the world&#8217;s greatest mixologist) produced for Bacardi.<br />

<p>- How so?<br />
- Well, they say that the drinking and driving is bad (hmmmm, ok Mr <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-AfOhyn_S4" target="_blank">Makie</a>?) and they put it in a form that is non-patronizing and funny.<br />
- But them, aren&#8217;t the alcohol companies the bottom cause of all the problems? Shouldn&#8217;t they just stop manufacturing the poison?<br />
- No. It&#8217;s the stupid people who abuse ethanol and make wrong judgments and get behind the wheel. Not the companies themselves. Don&#8217;t you enjoy a glass of a perfectly chilled rum and coke with a healthy squeeze of lime (and not just a wedge as a garnish) from time to time?<br />
- Hmmmm, ok&#8230;</p>
<p>Quite frankly, the idea is really good and inventive and I&#8217;m happy to see that companies like Bacardi sign off campaigns like this one. It&#8217;s got humor, an ethically good message and it&#8217;s different. It&#8217;s also very simple, meaning easy to execute. And this brings me the actual production. I must say that it left a bitter taste in my mouth. Celebrity figure that Schumaher is does not constitute that he&#8217;s a good actor. Looking at pre-release version of the ad I noticed that Michael actually has more to say. He even adds a humorous &#8216;Che cos&#8217;è?&#8217; at some point when looking at the cocktail in a glass. This however wasn&#8217;t used in the final version. I like the idea but I&#8217;m not surprised: F1 champion looks there as if he was on the way to the hospital where he was scheduled to have a stick surgically removed from his anus. At this point I digress and say that according to <a title="Stu Maschwitz" href="http://prolost.com" target="_blank">Stu Maschwitz </a>&#8216;bad acting is bad directing&#8217; and that&#8217;s something I&#8217;d like to agree with so I will.</p>

Huge majority of ads surrounding us is made using some form of advanced technology (that is more advanced than ink and pen). Scott Campbell is a New York based tattoo artist who works with large brands making humanizing their artwork. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Since comments for <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cX4t5-YpHQ" target="_blank">this video</a> have been disabled I&#8217;m going to add my own perspective on it here.</p>
<p>Notice how the director&#8217;s intention was to make it look as if the entire video was shot in one take. Now, if you watch carefully, you&#8217;ll see that the time on the clock above the stove goes from about 3:11 to 5:13. Also watch how the level of drink in the first glass from the left changes during the presentation. In fact I think that the real intention was to make you so bored with the video by minute 2 that you fall asleep and not notice any screw-ups.</p>
<p>Well, Microsoft&#8217;s weak attention to details has been known for a while. It&#8217;s also been reflected in their choices for ad campaign creators. One would think that time creates progress. Not in this case.</p>
<p>So, ok, you throw a party for Windows7 launch and you win a copy (or just might). You tell your friends: &#8216;Hey, how about we have a little pre-Halloween get together to celebrate one of the world&#8217;s largest corporation&#8217;s new product release&#8217;. I mean, you know that sooner or later that very product will become the source of your worst frustrations only comparable with inability to obtain help from Virgin Money car insurance customer service when an uninsured cyclist hit my car and later threatened to sue me for personal damage.</p>
<p>And I&#8217;m not even going to start on how confusing and anti-interest causing the communication is here. How about they go back to <a href="school " target="_blank">school</a>?</p>
<p>Mean? I know. I can&#8217;t hep it. People&#8217;s stupidity causes that.</p>
